Welcome! Welcome to the latest newsletter keeping you in touch with the news within the Christchurch Football Club. Registrations are open for both senior Rugby and Netball, and preseason is well under way. The first item on the social calendar is also coming up which is our club connection day on Waitangi day - Nau Mai Haere Mai. This is open to all life members, axeman, senior rugby and netball players/ prospective players and whānau to our club connection day, a fantastic opportunity to get to meet everyone involved within the club and we look forward to creating some strong connections within our community. Players to help prep kai and enjoy fun games together as well as get to meet our CFC community. Registered players will receive their pre-season singlet on the day.  |

KŌHINE ANNOUNCEMENT We are also super excited to announce an incredible opportunity of growth with rugby skills and knowledge for girls aged 13-18 years old. CFC would like to invite you to 5 rugby skills evenings every Tuesday for 5 weeks starting Feb 13th. All clubs/schools welcome. Any skill ability, new or seasoned players, All welcome!! Amazing skills coaches to help develop you to the next level. With a graduation present to finish the 5 weeks. Please fill out the form here before spaces are gone! |

Colts “Giving them the Axe in 24” This season The Axemen Club are sponsoring and adopting the Colts side. This means the Colts will be known as the Colts Axemen. The Axemen logo will appear on the front of their jerseys plus there are 20 Axemen members who are going to pay to have their names on the back of the individual Colt players jersey’s. There will be ‘get to know you’ functions and support from the Axemen on the sidelines. By sponsoring this critical CFC team all income will go straight to obtaining new playing gear and all team member subs will be covered. Craig Calder CFC Chairman |

Junior Registrations Junior Registrations open this Saturday! We are so looking forward to another exciting year of rugby for our junior players, there are plenty of options available from Ripper, Tackle and RIP grades, from mixed teams to an exciting Girls only Monday night grade. You will find in the registration form all the answers to your questions however if theres anything further you'd like to know don't hesitate to contact us on cfcjuniors@christchurchpark.co.nz Friends of the committee Also we are looking for people to help out this year, we have a junior committee which will organise everything for the year, however sometimes we need help, and that's where you come in! ‘Friends of the committee’ are those that can put their name down into a pool of people that we can draw on when we need help, whether it be manning a BBQ, setting up fields, helping out on Friday Nights under Lights etc. even if you're only able to do it one time. Please let us know if this sounds like something you may be able to do. |
